The Invitations:
Designed and produced on Shirley's trusty Mac, the "Apple" of her eye, you might say! The "duogram", a blowup of an inch-square pencil drawing, can be seen a bit more clearly at the top left of this page...and in the headers of the other pages, too! The dashing and romantic R encircles the waist of his bride S, forming a heart-shaped space supported by a firmly footed but freely flowing base.
They like it!

Mina Fall, whom you have already met, mixed tea and hand packed tea bags for reception favors. The blend was a lovely Irish Breakfast mixed with just enough Mango scented darjeeling to give it a tropical flair. She packaged each tea bag in a little envelope made from the wrapping paper from shower and wedding gifts. Then they were each sealed with a sticker imprinted with the trademark duogram!

The RSVP was also produced by computer and the envelopes were made by hand by Shirley out of the same paper on which the invitation  and RSVP were printed. She enjoyed the whole thing immensely. There were RSVP postcards later as time grew short and The Dress became more and more demanding!

The Reverend Baab gives the couple some good advice: "Be kind to one another..."

Roger makes some promises...Shirley tears up!

Here is the cornerstone of the church building. The congregation moved into the present building in 1929 after years at the foot of Queen Anne Avenue in first one, then  another...

They came in separately,
as Two..

..but left together,
 as One!
